Whether clearing a home, managing commercial waste, or handling mixed loads from renovation work, our service ensures materials are treated correctly and sustainably by a licensed waste carrier.

Who Our Recycling and Eco Disposal Service Is For

Our eco-focused waste services support a wide range of customers who want responsible waste management.

Households and Residents

Homeowners and tenants use our service when decluttering, renovating, or replacing furniture and appliances, knowing waste will be recycled wherever possible.

Landlords and Letting Agents

Rental properties generate mixed waste between tenancies. We help landlords manage this waste responsibly while meeting legal obligations.

Businesses and Commercial Premises

Offices, shops, and hospitality venues rely on us to handle waste sustainably without disrupting operations.

Builders and Contractors

Construction and refurbishment projects often generate recyclable materials. Our service supports builders by diverting waste from landfill.

What Materials We Recycle and Dispose Of

Our eco disposal services cover a wide range of non-hazardous waste types.

Recyclable Materials

This includes cardboard, paper, wood, metal, plastics, green waste, electrical items, furniture, and some textiles.

General Waste Streams

Where materials cannot be recycled, we ensure they are disposed of responsibly at authorised facilities.

Excluded Materials

Hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, fuel, explosives, or clinical waste is excluded unless specifically agreed in advance.

How Our Recycling and Eco Disposal Service Works

We follow a structured process designed to maximise recycling while remaining efficient.

Step 1: Waste Assessment

You provide details of the waste type, volume, and access. Photos are welcome. We identify recyclable streams in advance where possible.

Step 2: Clear Quotation

We provide an upfront quote covering collection, sorting, recycling, and lawful disposal.

Step 3: Collection and Sorting

Our trained team collects waste safely and transports it to authorised facilities for sorting and processing.

Step 4: Responsible Processing

Recyclable materials are separated, with landfill used only as a last resort.

Transparent Pricing with Environmental Focus

Pricing for recycling and eco disposal is based on waste volume, material types, and labour requirements.

Quotes include loading, transport, recycling, and lawful disposal. There are no hidden fees, and our pricing reflects our commitment to sustainable waste management.

Why Recycling and Eco Disposal Is the Better Option

DIY disposal often results in recyclable materials being sent to landfill due to limited access to specialist facilities. Council services are restricted by collection types and schedules.

Skip hire does not guarantee recycling and often results in mixed waste being landfilled.

Our recycling & eco disposal service actively prioritises recovery, supporting environmental responsibility.

Legal Compliance and Duty of Care

Ben and Jerry operates as a licensed waste carrier and complies fully with UK waste regulations.

All customers have a Duty of Care to ensure waste is transferred to an authorised carrier. Our service fulfils this obligation and provides peace of mind.

Recycling-First and Landfill Reduction

We aim to divert the majority of collected waste from landfill through recycling and recovery routes.

Green waste is composted, wood and metal are recycled, and electrical items are processed through approved schemes.

Experienced, Insured, and Professional

Ben and Jerry has extensive experience delivering eco-focused waste services across residential, commercial, and construction environments.

Our teams are fully trained, supported by appropriate insured cover, and committed to professional standards.

Real-World Recycling Scenarios

We regularly recycle materials from home clearances, office refurbishments, garden projects, and builders waste removals.

Each job is assessed individually to maximise recycling outcomes.
